The BACTRON900 system boasts the same power as the BACTRON600, except with the addition of a rear wall incubator. With two incubators and a 900 plate holding capacity, BACTRON900 is guaranteed to satisfy even the most demanding anaerobic environments.
BACTRON systems have an airtight construction of stainless steel and rigid acrylic glass for unobstructed vision and integrity. The cuffs form a comfortable seal around the operator’s arms permitting bare hand manipulation of plates and specimens inside the working chamber, making work more comfortable and efficient. In addition, all BACTRON chambers have our new ergonomic armport doors, which ensure user comfort and minimize shoulder fatigue.
When sitting undisturbed at a steady state, a BACTRON typically rests at lower than 4.7 parts per million oxygen in the workspace chamber
Chamber atmosphere circulates through a condensate controller then through a catalyst, which removes any trace amounts of oxygen. High relative humidity is maintained while condensate moisture is removed without the unnecessary desiccants, which can dehydrate media and samples. Each unit contains an integral vacuum pump to provide rapid evacuation of air from the airlock module for replacement by an inert gas mixture.
For over 20 years, BACTRON has been a powerhouse in the anaerobic chamber market. BACTRON units now feature:
• Low Gas Supply Alarm
• Integrated Vacuum Pump
• 60% Faster Airlock Cycle
• Auto-Sleeve Cycle with Integrated HEPA Filter
• Integrated Internal Regulators
• Inner Door Lock
• 40% Faster Sleeve Cycle
• Faster Installation
• User Adjustable Airlock Cycling
• Auto-Commissioning Cycle
• Easy-to-Access, Replaceable HEPA Filters
Worry free sample preparation and incubation
Anaerobes that are exposed to oxygen die or grow more slowly. Unlike anaerobic jars, which expose samples to oxygen during plating, isolation, sub-culturing and susceptibility testing, the Bactron line features a complete workstation where samples can be prepared, incubated and evaluated in an oxygen free environment.
Faster, more reliable diagnoses in critical patient situations
The user has complete access to individual samples within the incubator and may determine the presence of anaerobic bacteria at any time during incubation. In addition, increasing attention to hospital acquired infections has made quick, accurate detection of anaerobes that cause infections extremely important.
Certification
THE BACTRON anaerobic cabinets meet the following standards: EN61010, UL61010 and Can / CSA61010 standards.
